Keep A'Going!

It's been one of those weeks. You know, the kind of week when all you want to do is take a baseball bat and beat the living snot out of a tire! (You thought I was going a different direction there didn't ya?) Anyway, I'm sure you all have had those days, weeks, months, even years! Where almost anything you touch seems to go wrong, or nothing happens at all. Which can be more discouraging. Well, even in the middle of all that, I'm here to tell you that there is a God in Heaven that has promised us to get us through. Whatever the issue or problem is that is standing in our way. Psalms 139:23-24 says, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." God knew us even before we had been formed in the womb. In fact, He is the one that formed us! He knows our every thought, and every move. So, if you're struggling today, know this: God. Loves. You. He does. And maybe the reason something isn't working out is because He is trying to show you something in your life that isn't pleasing to Him. That very thing could be keeping you from success. Ask Him to "test you and know your anxious thoughts." I'm anxious all the time, it seems like. Yet, He still chooses to love me. So, keep a'going. Keep on keeping on. Continue to serve Him, and you will be pleasantly surprised at how successful you are going to be. Keep a'going!
